Former Chicken Red’s Restaurant 5,200 SF Vacant Restaurant Property Situated on a 1.46 acre hard corner SOLD for $1,470,000 Broker – KW Commercial Director Ken Wimberly (represented Seller) Client – large regional franchisee for a National QSR chain Ken was tasked with the challenge of disposing of a facility that was designed with a single purpose in mind. The property was on outparcel of a Power Center and was riddled with restrictive covenants the prohibited many obvious alternative uses. Ken worked in coordination with a team of architects, engineers, and attorneys to model several adaptive re-uses of the building. Ultimately the property was sold to a Sushi/Hibachi restaurant that made significant cosmetic changes and took advantage of the superior location and visibility of this otherwise challenging site. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the professionalism, knowledge, and hard work put in by Ken and his team.
